In 2026 NWSF is entering teams in the FNSW Association Championships, to be held 7-9 July in Mudgee NSW in boys U13 & U14 and girls U14 & U15 age groups.
Players for the NWSF Association Championship teams will be selected via the NWSF Winter Academy trials and will train weekly in the Winter Academy from May to September and participate in the July Tournament in Mudgee.
The Association Championship teams will be coached within our winter academy by our NWSF Winter Academy coaches, while NWSF will also appoint club-based coaches to each Association Championships team to work alongside our experienced NWS Spirit coaches in the winter academy to deliver the Association Championships program. Training is proposed as follows
U14s Boys : Mondays 6.50pm to 8pm
U15s Boys : Mondays 8.05pm to 9.15pm
U14 Girls : Fridays 6pm to 7pm
U15 Girls : Fridays 6pm to 7pm
To be considered coaches must:
· Be registered at a grassroots/community club within NWSF for the 2026 season
· Hold a current Working With Children Check
· Complete the Play by the Rules safeguarding e‑learning
· Hold a current FA coaching qualification (Foundation of Football or higher) or willing to obtain one
