About this event:

A quiet space to write, reflect and connect. While there is no structured agenda for the weekend, there will be opportunities to share work and exchange ideas. Take time out from the noise of everyday life to focus on your writing in our peaceful surroundings.

This mostly self-led retreat offers the freedom to shape your own creative rhythm – whether you are beginning a new project, polishing a draft, or simply seeking space to think and write. Enjoy long stretches of uninterrupted writing time, the calm of shared silence, and the companionship of a small community of fellow writers.

The residency functions as a retreat offering accommodation from between two to three nights (Friday to Monday). We provide a range of communal spaces for work, reflection, and creativity, including a study and library, several shared indoor areas, and expansive outdoor grounds. Please note that our meals are home-cooked by resident community members rather than professional chefs. 

All income received from this event will go towards supporting our charitable aims.

There are different rates available for people in different financial situations so please choose your rate when filling in the payment section. 

Please be mindful when choosing "Budget" or "Lower" rates as we offer them to address the specific systemic and economic barriers that attendees may face directly or indirectly based on their ethnic or national identities, or political and economical obstacles. Note: Only "Standard" rates guarantee single accommodation. If you are booking for one person and you choose the "Shared", "Budget", or "Lower" rate you may be placed in a room with another attendee of the same gender.
