    There is no fee for girls attending camp.

    Lunch will not be provided this year. Please pack your MusicGirls lunch.

    MusicGirls Camp is for girls with no prior music training and is also for girls who already have experience playing any type of music.  Instruction will be "by ear." The ability to read music is not required.

    Sandy's MusicGirls provides a support system to help girls grow musically and develop creativity and self-esteem. By attending camp, your daughter becomes a MusicGirl! Additional MusicGirls activities take place throughout the year. As a MusicGirl, she will be invited to participate in these activities. Parents will receive e-mails informing them of activities.

    INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO BE MUSICGIRLS!

  • Please check MusicGirls T-shirt size.

    Each MusicGirl gets one free Tee Shirt. We like for the girls to wear MusicGirl shirts at camp as much as possible. It is most important that this year's shirt is worn on Friday for the Showcase and group photos.

  • Each girl will choose 4 instruments or activities. We will schedule at least two of these instruments to focus on for the week and will attend classes each day learning those instruments.  MusicGirls will try to accommodate everyone's first choices however, classes fill up quickly. Indicate the skill level below based on these descriptions. If you do not make instrument choices, they will be chosen for you!

    Level 1 (L1): New to the instrument or just getting started

    Level 2 (L2): Basic ability on the instrument and plays at home. Can make several chords and move fluidly between them.

    Level 3 (L3): Students who are actively taking lessons outside of MusicGirls classes.

    Level 3 piano students -  MusicGirls camp does not offer level 3 piano. Please choose other instruments to enhance your MusicGirls experience. If you have questions, please email admin@sandysmusicgirls.org.

    The choices are banjo, bass, cello, clogging, dulcimer, guitar, percussion, piano, songwriting, ukulele, violin, or voice. These are subject to change, so make sure you have 4 choices.

    Choose your first choice under the 1 column.  Then do the same for 2, 3 and 4 choice.  If you need to uncheck a box scroll to the right and check "No". To be sure all the columns show up on a cell phone you may need to move the table right and left.

  • We provide instruments for use at camp. These will be tuned and set up for the girls. We have a limited number of instruments for loan for parents to check out at the end of camp on Friday. We expect the instrument to be returned to us when the girl no longer uses it. We may ask that the instrument be returned.

    However, if your MusicGirl wishes to bring her own instrument, that is wonderful. Make sure it is in working condition, tuned, and labeled.

    Please mark below if she will be bringing an instrument and list the instrument.

  • There will also be fun activities scheduled. All girls will participate in these activites.

  • We are seeking a few MUSICGIRLS COUNSELORS who will serve as role models at camp and assist instructors, organizers, and the other campers. To be considered, an applicant must:

    2) attended at least one prior Senior MusicGirls camp;
