*This form is to be completed by applicants currently ranked on the eligible applicant list who are requesting to reapply before the required one (1) year waiting period.*
If after a minimum of ninety (90) days from the date of their rank on the eligible applicant list, an applicant can provide proof of one of the following, the ETAKC will consider their request to reapply:
1. An applicant has gained at least 450 hours of documented work experience in the electrical construction industry.
2. An applicant has successfully completed two (2) or more post- secondary, industry-related classes, the applicant is eligible to request to reapply by completing the ETAKC Reapply Request Form. Examples of related classes include Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Advanced Math, Physical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Arts, Mechanical Drawing/Drafting, Computer Literacy/Programming, and Related Vocational/Technical Courses.
3. An applicant can provide a certificate of completion from an industry-related pre-apprenticeship training course.
The ETAKC is not obligated to grant a reapply request to an applicant where the factors on which the score was based would not be affected by additional experience or education. The ETAKC will respond to the request in a timely manner.
