**2026 Tagging Requirements**

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) is now requiring bucket calves to use official identification to be shown at the County Fair. This means calves will need ONEof the following:

USDA Approved Alphanumeric Tag or

Brucellosis/Calfhood Vaccination Tag (not Tattoo) or

840/EID Tag

Please work with your local vet on getting one of these tags/forms of identification.
