2026 Forestry Scholarship Application

The BC Council of Forest Industries (COFI) is the voice of British Columbia’s forest sector. COFI members produce lumber, pulp and paper, panels and engineered wood products at facilities across the province. They share a commitment to sustainable forest management, responsible manufacturing practices, innovative product development, and employee safety.

COFI advocates on behalf of its members and works collaboratively with all levels of government to support a strong, diversified, and sustainable forest industry. This includes advancing policies and regulations that enhance global competitiveness while maintaining high environmental standards. For more information, visit www.cofi.org.

Supporting the next generation of forestry professionals is an important part of COFI’s mission. Each year, COFI awards $2,000 scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary education or training in forest industry–related fields.

Eligibility Requirements for the 2026 COFI Scholarships:

Enrolled in a BC accredited post-secondary institution in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
Have not previously received a COFI scholarship
Resident of British Columbia
Entering a forestry-related program
