• West Seattle HS Girls Soccer Summer Youth Soccer Camps 2026

    We’re excited to offer two youth soccer camps focused on skill development, confidence and fun, hosted by the WSHS Girls Soccer coaches and players.

  • Camp 1: Incoming 8th and 9th Graders

    Date/Time: June 22 to June 24, 2026 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

    Location: Madision Middle School 

    Camp 2: Incoming 5th, 6th, and 7th Graders

    Date/Time: June 29 to July 1, 2026 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

    Location: Madison Middle School

    Cost: $200 per player (includes camp T-shirt)

  • I understand that my child is participating in a soccer camp operated in connection with the West Seattle High School girls soccer program. 

    I acknowledge and agree that: 

    • Participation in soccer and related activities involves physical activity and inherent risk of injury. 
    • My child is physically able to participate, and I have shared any important medical information. 
    • I voluntarily assume all risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, or damages my child may incur as a result of their participation in the camp. 
    • I release and hold harmless West Seattle High School, its staff, coaches, volunteers, as well as the camp organizers, coaches and volunteers, from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from any injury, illness or damage incurred during participation in the camp, including those that may result from ordinary negligence.
    • I will not bring legal claims against the West Seattle High School, its staff, coaches, volunteers, as well as the camp organizers, coaches and volunteers and, if a claim is made on behalf of my child, I accept responsibility for any resulting costs, including legal fees. 
    • I authorize staff to seek emergency medical care if necessary. 
    • I understand my child must follow all camp and school behavior expectations. 
    • I acknowledge the risks of concussions an understand that my child will be removed from play if one is suspected and may only return with appropriate medical clearance.

    • West Seattle High School Girls Soccer Program Camp Waiver

      RELEASE AND WAIVER OF: LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY; AND PLAYER/ PARENTAL CONSENT AGREEMENT IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate on behalf of or in conjunction with West Seattle High School,  in any way through all sports activities, related events or other actions within the program ("Activity") I, for myself for personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin and on behalf of my minor:

      ACKNOWLEDGE, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of the activity and that my athlete is qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity. I further agree and warrant that if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue my athlete’s further participation in the Activity. I FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT: (a) SPORTS AND RELATED ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS, AND DEATH ("RISKS"); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inaction’s, the actions or inaction’s of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE "RELEASEES" NAMED BELOW; (c) there may be OTHER RISK AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES my athlete may incur as a result of my participation or that of the minor in the Activity.

      HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE ‘West Seattle High School’ their respective administrators, directors, agents, staff, members, coaches, volunteers, and employees, volunteer camp organizers and volunteer camp staff, other participants, any sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, facility owners and leasers of premises on which the Activity takes place, (each considered one of the "RELEASES" herein) FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON MY ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE "RELEASEES" OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS AND I FURTHER AGREE that if, despite this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT MY ATHLETE, or anyone on their behalf, makes a claim against any of the Releases, I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability, damage, or cost which may incur as the result of such claim.

      SPORTS ACTIVITIES: MINOR

      I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID THE BALANCE, NOTWITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

      PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN

      AND I, THE MINOR’S PARENT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND THE MINOR’S EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES AND BELIEVE THE MINOR TO BE QUALIFIED, IN GOOD HEALTH, AND IN PROPER PHYSICAL CONDITION TO PARTICIPATE IN SUCH ACTIVITY. I HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEE’S (AS STATED ON MINOR’S FORM) FROM ALL LIABILITY CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON THE MINOR’S ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE "RELEASEES" OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATION AND FURTHER AGREE THAT IF, DESPITE THIS RELEASE, I, THE MINOR, OR ANYONE ON THE MINOR’S BEHALF MAKES A CLAIM AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASEES NAMED ABOVE, I WILL INDEMNITY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM ANY LITIGATION EXPENSES, ATTORNEY FEES, LOSS LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COST ANY MAY INCUR AS THE RESULT OF ANY SUCH CLAIM.

      AGREE that participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and, I AGREE ON MY ATHLETE’S BEHALF TO RESPONSIBILY, such as to not place others in harm's way if my athlete has been or is experience sickness-related symptoms that could become infectious and/ or contagious.

      AGREE to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards to protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my athlete’s presence or participation, I will remove them from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately.

       

      PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE (UNDER AGE 18 AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION)

      This is to certify that I, as parent/guardian, with legal responsibility for this participant, have read and explained the provisions in this waiver/release to my child/ward including the risks of presence and participation and his/her personal responsibilities for adhering to the rules and regulations for protection against communicable diseases. Furthermore, my child/ward understands and accepts these risks and responsibilities. I for myself, my spouse, and child/ward do consent and agree to his/her release provided above for all the Releasees and myself, my spouse, and child/ward do release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees for any and all liabilities incident to my minor child’s/ward’s presence or participation in these activities as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THEIR NEGLIGENCE, to the fullest extent provided by law.
