Continuing Education Scholarships are available to college students for their second, third, and fourth year of college. You can either submit your application ONLINE or IN-PERSON. You must be a resident of Speedway, Indiana. If you have any issues with the online application, please text Mindy Lewis-Hitch at 317-917-1410.

Applications will be disqualified if AI is used to generate your essay response.
Incomplete applications or applications turned in after the deadline will be ineligible.
Do not start the online application unless you are ready to submit the entire application in full (with your transcript, your essay, and this form).

You will need the following items:

Three copies of your essay response (no longer than two 8.5 x 11 inch double-spaced pages). Do not put your name on the three copies. The 2026 Essay Topic: Discuss a lesson you learned outside of the classroom. What realization(s) did you learn? You can consider work experiences, hobbies, volunteering, etc. for your essay.
A cover letter with your full name, Speedway address, phone number, high school attended and date of graduation, name of college you are currently enrolled, your college major, and your college community service activities and extracurricular activities.
A copy of your transcript showing a minimum of one year of study (24 credits) have been completed.
