Thank you for your interest in bringing your educational group to the Metropolitan Opera for a final dress rehearsal!

Participation in Access Opera: Guild Open Rehearsals for Students is based on a sliding scale, depending on school type and number of tickets requested. Please complete this form to request tickets, which will be confirmed via email. Title I schools will receive complimentary access to final dress rehearsals for a limited number of students; additional tickets can be made available. Please note that we may limit ticket requests per opera to accommodate additional school groups.

Schools who complete this form prior to August 1 will receive price quotes (if applicable) and confirmed ticket numbers by August 31. Requests can be submitted on a rolling basis after that date. (PLEASE NOTE: Many operas reach the request limit by the start of the school year, so early registration is highly recommended, especially for younger grade levels.)

Below, please enter your preferred opera choice(s) for this season. We aim to accommodate as many schools as possible, taking into account their top choices, availability, and age-appropriateness.

Make sure to read the following carefully and note any ticket or age restrictions for particular operas. If you wish to bring your group to more than one rehearsal this season, please indicate so in the appropriate field below. Please also provide the number of tickets you would like to request for each rehearsal. This number should include chaperones!

*PLEASE NOTE: Some operas may not be appropriate for younger students. Please read the “Season Overview” document included with this form before selecting your choices.

• Schools may only request one of the following operas in the “Tier 1” category: La Bohème, Tosca, The Magic Flute, and Aida.
• The Magic Flute will be limited to GRADES 3-6 ONLY. No exceptions.
• Requests over 100 tickets per opera may not be possible.
• Title I schools will be allowed up to 125 total complementary tickets across the season.

If your school is not designated as Title I, you may provide proof of financial necessity to be considered for a subsidy, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please email Stefanie Izzo directly at sizzo@metopera.org to discuss these options.
