  • The Visit Haywood Ice Fest Weekend is back for a fourth year on January 28- 31, 2027! Join the Western NC mountains' biggest winter festival for a four-day celebration designed to drive attendees directly to participating businesses! 

    Help us make 2027 the coolest Ice Fest yet! Fill out the form below to indicate your interest in participating in this icy celebration! Scroll all the way through for town-specific opportunities.

    September 14 – Preliminary deadline (possible inclusion in media outreach)

  • Custom Ice Sculpture

    Sponsoring a custom ice sculpture is a great way to showcase your business during the biggest winter event in Haywood County. To keep things fresh, no exact repeats of past designs, please! 

    Guidelines:

    • Each one block sculpture may include up to 2 design elements (eg: a bear, truck, etc. are each one element. A bear in a truck is 2 elements.)
    • Business logo may be added to the sculpture, but counts as 1 design element.

  • This signature winter event shines when partners like you bring it to life with specials, activities, and experiences across every town. Your participation helps elevate the weekend while giving your business valuable exposure during the slower season. All promotions will be listed on VisitHaywood.com/IceFest, the highest trafficked web page during December-January.

  • Canton: "Anything But Snow" Snowman Contest

  • Downtown Canton businesses are invited to show off their creativity in the "Anything But Snow" Snowman Contest!

    On-lookers will explore the custom map and vote for their favorite snowman. Participating businesses will be listed on marketing materials, online, and promoted as part of the Ice Fest social media campaign. Sign up for more details!

     

  • Maggie Valley: Snow Globe Trail

  • I am a business in Maggie Valley and would like to create a snow globe at my business

  •  The new Snow Globe Trail replaces Maggie Valley's previous half-day event with an expanded four-day, weather-resilient attraction that encourages attendees to explore local businesses. In partnership with the Town of Maggie Valley, Visit Haywood will be creating a life-sized snow globe trail.

    You can capitalize on the trail's media buzz by creating a smaller, photo-worthy snow globe inside your business. Participating business will be highlighted in marketing materials. 

    Visitors will follow a scavenger hunt-style trail of all the snow globes and capture photos with each one to win an Ice Fest sticker pack and entry into a raffle for a variety of winter-themed prizes!

    Here's what you'll need to participate: 

    • Any materials you need to create your snow globe.
