  • DRY HIRE AGREEMENT TERMS

    • The hirer is responsible for the equipment throughout the entire hire period.

    • The hirer agrees to operate the equipment safely, competently, and only for its intended purpose.

    • The hirer is responsible for identifying and locating any underground services before undertaking any digging or drilling activities. Compliance with Dial Before You Dig requirements remains the responsibility of the hirer.

    • Fair wear and tear is accepted. Any damage beyond fair wear and tear may be repaired or replaced at the hirer's expense.

    • Equipment must be returned clean and free from excessive mud, dirt, or debris. Additional cleaning charges may apply where necessary.

    • The hirer acknowledges that condition photos and/or video recordings of the equipment may be taken prior to the commencement of hire.

    • The hirer agrees that taking possession of the equipment constitutes acceptance of its condition at the commencement of the hire period.

    • The hirer agrees to return the equipment in the same condition in which it was received, excluding fair wear and tear.

    • Any costs associated with recovering equipment that becomes bogged, stuck, submerged, or otherwise inaccessible during the hire period are the responsibility of the hirer.

    • Invoices are issued upon return of the equipment and payment is due within seven (7) days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    • The hired equipment must be returned by 6:00 PM on the agreed return date unless prior arrangements have been made with Mittagong Mini Excavator Hire. Late returns may incur additional hire charges.

    • The hirer acknowledges that failure to return the equipment on the agreed date or any unauthorised extension of the hire period may result in additional charges.

    • By signing below, the hirer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Dry Hire Agreement Terms.
