  • Photography & Media Consent

  • By enrolling in and participating in the Happening Lifestyle Academy Homeschool Programs,  Wednesday Workshops and/or any HLA Socials, gatherings, or field trips, I acknowledge and understand that regular homeschool meets will take place at 30 Reeve Street, Unit 101, Woodstock, as well as at various outdoor locations including nature outings and park visits. I understand that all activities are parent-attended, and I am responsible for the supervision and care of my child(ren) at all times. I am aware that participation may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical activity, outdoor terrain, weather conditions, and the use of materials and equipment. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, loss, or harm to myself and/or my child(ren) while participating in any Happening Lifestyle Academy activities, both indoors and off-site. I accept that Happening Lifestyle Academy, along with its organizers, volunteers, and affiliates, assumes no responsibility for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred as a result of participation in the program. I also agree to inform organizers of any medical conditions, allergies, or special considerations and consent to basic first aid being administered if necessary.

  • I grant permission to Happening Lifestyle Academy to take photographs during workshops and events for the purpose of sharing and promoting Happening programs on social media, website, and other marketing materials. I understand that all photos will be taken respectfully and that children’s faces will not be clearly shown or identifiable in any images used. I acknowledge that these images may include my child(ren) participating in activities, but will focus on hands-on learning, group moments, and overall experiences rather than individual identification. I understand that these photos may be used without compensation and may be shared across various platforms to highlight our community and programs.

  • Program Participation & Safety Agreement

    By registering for and attending any current or future Happening Lifestyle Academy (HLA) workshops, meets, events, field trips, classes, programs, or socials, I acknowledge and understand that participation may include outdoor play, hands-on activities, physical movement, nature exploration, sensory experiences, creative projects, group games, and the use of age-appropriate tools, materials, and equipment. I understand that activities may involve certain inherent risks including, but not limited to: uneven terrain, outdoor/natural environments, weather conditions, physical activity, obstacle courses, sports or movement-based activities, climbing, sensory materials, arts and crafts supplies, household and natural materials, STEM activities, experiments, and age-appropriate tools and equipment. Materials and activities may include, but are not limited to: paint, glue, baking soda, vinegar, rice, lentils, chickpeas, water play, sensory fillers, loose parts, building materials, gardening materials, and other workshop-related items. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, illness, loss, or harm to myself and/or my child(ren) while participating in any HLA activity, whether attending a workshop originally selected on this form or one registered for at a later date. I acknowledge that Happening Lifestyle Academy is a parent-led program and understand that parents/guardians remain responsible for the supervision, behaviour, participation, and well-being of their child(ren) at all times unless otherwise stated in writing. I confirm that myself and/or my child(ren) are physically and medically suitable to participate in HLA activities and agree to inform HLA organizers of any medical conditions, allergies, behavioural concerns, accessibility needs, or other special considerations prior to participation. I understand and agree that Happening Lifestyle Academy (HLA), its owners, organizers, volunteers, instructors, affiliates, and locations shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in any HLA workshop, meet, event, or program. In the event of an injury, illness, or emergency, I authorize basic first aid to be administered if necessary and understand that emergency medical services may be contacted if deemed appropriate. This waiver and acknowledgment applies to all current and future Happening Lifestyle Academy workshops, meets, events, field trips, and programs attended by myself and/or my child(ren).

  • HLA MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS

    To secure your child's spot in an HLA membership program, the completed registration form and first monthly tuition payment must be received.

     

    HLA memberships are paid monthly via email transfer to happeninglifestyleacademy@gmail.com or can be paid by credit card/debit in office. 

     

    Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is paid one month in advance. For example, September 1st payment covers October programming, October 1st payment covers November programming, and so on.

     

    We kindly require one month's notice if your family will not be retuning for the following month. 

     

    Please note that membership payments are non-refundable, unless program or event is cancelled by Happening Lifestyle Academy.
