      We regret to inform you that we can only accept applications from incoming 1st- or 2nd-year college students for AY 2026–2027 who are enrolled in a Bachelor of Secondary Education program with a specialization in a STEM-related field, have a GWA of 85% or above, and are residing in Regions 8, 9, 12, BARMM, or CARAGA.

    • Dear GBF TeachSTEM College Applicant, 

      Congratulations! If you have reached this part, it means you have successfully passed our eligibility questionnaire for the GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship.

      As the next step, you will now proceed to the application process. Before filling out the Application Form, we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to carefully review the guidelines below to ensure you meet all requirements and submit a complete application. Submission of Application and Requirements is open until September 30, 2026.

       

      SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS & COVERAGE

      1. What are the benefits and coverage of TeachSTEM College Scholarship? 

      • Fixed annual financial grant up to Php 85,000 to subsidize tuition and other fees (Subject to terms and conditions of scholarship agreement) 
      • Access to scholar development programs

      2. Does the scholarship have a mandatory service obligation?

      Yes. As part of the program’s design, scholars shall render the return-of-service as a STEM teacher in his/her hometown.

      3. Is this applicable to a second degree in college?

      No, this only applies to a student’s first bachelor’s degree.


      ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

       1. Is there a minimum GWA required to apply? 

      One of the eligibility requirements is to have at least a GWA of 2.0 or 85% 

      2. Can those with failed grades in college / high school still apply? 

      No, all applicants must have no failed, dropped, or incomplete subject/s for the entirety of their college/high school years. 

      3. Can I apply if I already have an existing scholarship from another institution or company? 

      For applicants with other scholarships, the application is subject to evaluation. Qualified candidates who do not have any other scholarships are usually prioritized. 

      4. I am not enrolled yet or I do not have a school yet. Can I still apply?

      Yes, instead of the certificate for registration, you will be required to submit your proof of application to at least one university (see the documentary requirements section for the template).


      DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

      What are the requirements needed to apply for GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship?

      1. Proof of Academic Standing

      🔳 For Incoming College Students:
      ▫ Certified True Copy of Grades – Grade 12 Report Card (1st term only if 2nd term is not yet available)
      ▫ Good Moral Charater (AY 2025-2026)
      ▫ Notice of Admission or Proof of University Application for AY 2026-2027

      🔳 For Continuing College Students (2nd year):
      ▫ Certified True Copy of Grades – 1st Term AY 2025-2026 (Signed/Certified portal-generated grades are accepted)
      ▫ Registration Form – 2nd/3rd Term AY 2025-2026
      ▫ Good Moral Character (AY 2025 - 2026)

      2. Proof of Annual Household Income (Submit any of the following documents)

      🔳 If parent(s) are employed (private/public sector) or self-employed:
      ▫ Recently filed 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (ITR): Form 2303 (employed) or Form 1701 (self-employed)
      ▫ Certificate of Employment with Salary (dated 2026) for the parent contributing to household income
      ▫ Employment Contract with Salary (for Overseas Filipino Workers - OFWs)
      ▫ Screenshot of January-March 2026 income (for self-employed individuals in ride-hailing services like Grab/Lalamove)

      🔳 If the family's income depends on a senior parent’s pension:
      ▫ Proof of Pension

      🔳 If the parent(s) do not have a regular source of income and are exempt from filing taxes:
      ▫ BIR Tax Exemption Certificate (To be submitted later upon successful application.)
