    Welcome to the 2026 AEL Virtual Grand Prix, a national school‑based Formula 1® Esports competition where students race across Terms 2, 3 and 4 for the ultimate prize: qualification for the 2027 Formula 1® Melbourne Grand Prix experience.

    Delivered by the Australian Esports League (AEL) in partnership with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, the Virtual Grand Prix provides secondary school students with an authentic, competitive motorsport esports pathway. Students will test their speed, consistency, and racecraft across multiple terms, earning leaderboard points as they battle Australia’s best young drivers.

    Unlike a one‑off tournament, the 2026 AEL Virtual Grand Prix is designed as a season‑long championship, giving every student multiple opportunities to compete, improve, and qualify whether they join in Term 2, 3 or 4.

    While we are working closely with schools to promote this opportunity, this registration form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

    🏁 What Students Are Racing For

    Top performing drivers across the 2026 season will earn an exclusive invitation to attend the 2027 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, including:

    • Live on‑site racing experiences
    • Official AEL and AGPC finals activities
    • A once‑in‑a‑lifetime motorsport prize experience

    Key Information for Parents & Guardians

    • Entry Fee: $30 + GST ($33.00 total) per student.
    • Payment: Direct payment is required via this form to secure your child’s place in the challenge.
    • Who Can Enter: Secondary school students (Years 7–12)
    • School Requirement: Students must be currently enrolled in an Australian school
    • Registration: This form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian
    • Game Title: F1® 25
    • Platform: PC or Xbox (cross‑play enabled). Requires an active Game Pass subscription.
    • Ongoing Participation: Students may compete in one, two, or all three terms
    • Prize Pathway: Performance contributes towards season points and qualification for the 2027 Melbourne Grand Prix

    Registration Due Dates

    • Term 2 due 20th May 2026
    • Term 3 due 5th August 2026
    • Term 4 due 28th October 2026

    FOR PARENTS: For each qualifying student an extra pass to the Grand Prix is won for one parent accompanying their child.

    Multiple Entries: If you have multiple children you would like to enter, please do so seperately and submit a new form for each child.
