2026 ByzanTEEN Spring Hike Registration Form

The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry invites all 7th Grade through High School Students to the 2026 ByzanTeen Spring Hike.

When? May 16, 2026 (Saturday)

Where? Raccoon Creek State Park Wildflower Reserve

The Wildflower Reserve contains one of the most diverse stands of wildflowers in western Pennsylvania. More than 700 species of plants can be found along the 4.5 miles of trails, between a variety of habitats including oak-hickory forest, pine plantations, meadows, and riparian forest.

Meet & Pick-Up at the Wildflower Reserve Interpretive Center Parking Lot: 525 Lincoln Hwy, 482 US-30, Clinton, PA 15026

10:00 am Registration

10:15 am Intro and Hike begins.

Track difficulty level: EASY to MODERATE
Hike with activity, lunch, game stops, and Interpretive Center visit: about 3 hours.

2:00 pm Departure (parents pick up) from the parking lot for the Wildflower Reserve Interpretive Center: 525 Lincoln Hwy, 482 US-30, Clinton, PA 15026

I fully release, discharge and waive any claims or right of actions which I have or might later have arising from any negligent acts or omissions of the (Arch)Eparchy, Byzantine Catholic Metropolia sui juris of Pittsburgh, any of its employees, agents and all affiliated individuals arising out of any activity associated with the 2026 ByzanTEEN Spring Hike. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the (Arch)Eparchy, any of its employees, agents and all affiliated individuals for damage based on negligence of the (Arch)Eparchy, any of its employees, agents or all affiliated individuals arising out of any incident during the 2026 ByzanTEEN Spring Hike. I attest that I have supplied the Office of youth and young adult ministry with any and all information necessary to insure proper supervision of my child's health and well-being. In case of apparent injury or illness, I wish my child to be sent to a reliable hospital and skilled medical attention be secured at once, for which I expect to pay the usual charges. I also wish that notification of any emergency be made immediately to me at the phone number I have listed. I wish the staff to treat my child as if he or she were their own. I also acknowledge that my child's early departure for medical, disciplinary or personal reasons is my sole responsibility.
