Team:
· Team must consist of five participants. Four runners touching the outhouse for the duration of the race. One passenger must be inside the outhouse. Passenger cannot propel or steer the outhouse.
· Passenger must wear an approved helmet (bicycle, horse-back riding, or ATV)
· Passenger must be secured in seat that is fastened to outhouse.
· Cloverbuds may not participate.
Construction:
· Must have single hinged door must face forward for outhouses and must be secured for the duration of the race.
· Outhouse must have a seat for passenger that is secured with a seatbelt.
· Must have four wheels that are in contact with ground for duration of race.
· Any form of propulsion or mechanical power is not allowed.
· Outhouses must have solid construction. Cardboard and peg board are not acceptable.
· There are no size requirements for height, width, height of wheels, etc.
Registration and Contest:
· Registration forms are due to be submitted by 4:00pm on Wednesday, June 18. No entries will be accepted after 4pm.
· Entries should be brought to the front of the Grandstand for an inspection at 6pm on Monday, June 16.
· The contest will take place at 6:30pm Thursday, June 18 at the Show Pavilion.
· Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top winning teams at the 4-H Awards Banquet in September!
· $100 for 1st Place, $75 for 2nd Place and $50 for 3rd Place.
