2026-2027 NCBA Privacy and Data Security Section Law Student Liaison Guidelines
The core duties for NCBA PDS Section Law Student Liaisons are:1) Be an active member of the NCBA.2) Attend the Section’s quarterly meetings;3) Assist the Section’s CLE Committee in working with speakers at the Section’s annual CLE;4) Assist the Resources Committee in selecting and creating materials for the Section’s Resource Library;5) Contribute thought leadership on, and help implement, projects, topics and programs of interest to law students that will assist them in becoming privacy and data security lawyers, such as: hosting events at your law school, writing blog posts for the Section, or similar activities for which the Section will provide support;6) Promote Section events within your law school;7) Represent the NCBA and the Section with the highest professional and ethical standards in your communications and at events;8) Provide updates no less than monthly to the Section leadership.
