About the Programme

The Rise and Shine Project aims to strengthen women’s leadership and community engagement skills across Mid Ulster. Through workshops, mentoring and networking, participants will build confidence, develop new skills, and connect with other women who want to make a positive difference in their communities.

This programme welcomes:

Women involved in community and voluntary sector groups, especially those engaged in or interested in cross community collaboration; and
Women from across the community who wish to develop their leadership, resilience, and self-confidence, or become more active in community life.
Please Note-

The Rise and Shine Retreat consists of the following dates- attendance at all events is required to complete the programme.

Drop In Registration Session- Cookstown-The Hub, Burn Road-Wednesday 19th August between10am and 1pm
Retreat Day-Pomeroy Forest- Thursday 17th September 10am to 5pm
Evaluation and Celebration- Cookstown The Hub, Burn Road -Wednesday 30th September 10am to 1pm
