  • Open Positions:

    • President-Elect

      Purpose: To prepare for the term of ICEA President
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA certification and have completed at least one term on the ICEA Board of Directors or a comparable organization's board.

    • Secretary 

      Purpose: Takes attendance and minutes at each Board meeting and ensures that a quorum is present to conduct business; oversees the revision of ICEA Bylaws and the ICEA Handbook.
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA Certification. 

    • Treasurer

      Purpose: To review selected financial aspects of ICEA’s work. Oversees/heads the ICEA Scholarship Committee.  
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA Certification. 

    • Director of Birth Doula Education

      Purpose: Monitor the implementation and revision of Birth Doula educational programs.
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA Certification. 

    • Director At Large

      Purpose: Provides support for programs and functions of ICEA at the discretion of the President and President-Elect
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA Certification. 
    • Director of Lactation

      Purpose:       Assist with communications and publications of ICEA. Manage public policy for ICEA regarding lactation.
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA Certification. 

    • Director of Grants & Donations

      Purpose: Leads efforts to secure and manage funding through grants, donations, and donor partnerships to support and advance the organization’s mission.
      Term: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2028
      Qualifications: Must have a current ICEA Certification.
