    The USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals class is designed to give everyday people the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies. This course covers essential life-saving skills, including how to recognize and respond to common emergencies such as severe bleeding, airway obstructions, cardiac events, and traumatic injuries.Participants will learn practical, hands-on techniques like scene safety assessment, patient evaluation, bleeding control, tourniquet use, and basic trauma care. The class also emphasizes decision-making under stress and how to act quickly while waiting for professional medical help to arrive.No prior medical experience is required, this course is accessible to all skill levels and focuses on building confidence, preparedness, and the ability to take action when it matters most.

  • 1. Voluntary Participation
    I understand that my participation in the USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals class is voluntary. I choose to participate of my own free will.

    2. Nature of Activities
    I understand that this course includes hands-on training in emergency first aid skills, which may involve physical activity such as kneeling, lifting, applying pressure, using training medical equipment (including tourniquets), and interacting with other participants in simulated emergency scenarios.

    3. Assumption of Risk
    I acknowledge that participation in this class carries inherent risks, including but not limited to minor physical strain, discomfort, emotional stress when discussing or simulating emergency situations, or accidental injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.

    4. Health & Fitness
    I certify that I am physically and mentally able to participate in this training. I agree to inform the instructor of any conditions, injuries, or limitations that may affect my ability to safely participate.

    5. Release of Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge Gallatin Community Gun Club (GCGC), its officers, instructors, volunteers, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of my participation in this class.

    6. No Medical Certification or Professional Advice
    I understand that this course provides general first aid education and is not a substitute for professional medical training, certification, diagnosis, or treatment.
