Submission Details
This award will be judged based on the overall vision of the development, architectural features, environmental considerations, recreation, safety and other quality of life features.
1. Vision: Describe the overall concept: the scope of the project including the size of the community, the number/types of dwellings, the theme and planning styles, the target market, and the appeal of the community
2. Architectural Features: Comment on the features as they relate to your entry: the entrance to the community, common areas and amenities, compatibility of the community and building design, landscaping, and other design measures that support the theme and enhance the attractiveness
3. Environmental Considerations: Outline measures to preserve the original environmental features, promotion of environmental responsibility, integrate the community into its natural setting, and overcoming site constraints
4. Recreation: List indoor and outdoor community facilities for physical and social activities
5. Safety: Describe measures to protect the residents and increase their sense of safety
6. Other Quality of Life Features: Describe other important aspects and features of the community aimed at enhancing the lives of the residents. Include any special activities by the developer/builder to foster community spirit
