ATTENDANCE & COMMITMENT:
StageStruck productions are held to a high standard, and casting requires a commitment to the full rehearsal and performance schedule.
Cast members are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances as called by the show producers and director(s). All known conflicts must be listed on the audition form. Failure to disclose conflicts may result in a change of role or removal from the production.
If a new conflict arises after casting, it must be communicated to the producers as soon as possible. Conflicts submitted after a rehearsal schedule is posted may not be accommodated.
Absences are limited to five (5) total, including both excused and unexcused, with no more than three (3) unexcused. Illness does not count toward this total; however, a doctor’s note may be requested.
Attendance is mandatory for all tech rehearsals starting November 1st through the end of the production on November 15th. During tech, absences will only be excused for illness, a death in the immediate family, or a college scholarship interview/audition.
If you're unable to meet these expectations, please consider whether this production is the right commitment.
CONFLICTS:
Please list all known rehearsal conflicts between August 10th and October 30th. (August 10th-22nd will be principle rehearsals only; no rehearsal Labor Day weekend).
Also include any ongoing commitments (e.g., sports, dance, school activities, jobs, etc.) that may impact your availability during this time, even if full schedules are not yet available.
If there are no conflicts, please enter “NONE.”
We understand that not all conflicts may be known at this time. Cast members will be asked to update conflicts on audition day.
Conflicts listed here will be considered in casting. The production team will do its best to accommodate reasonable conflicts; however, listing a conflict does not guarantee it will be excused or accommodated.
