Registration forĀ Urban Agriculture and Dairy in the Classroom
Join us for a hands-on educator professional development day at Food and Finance High School on June 4th! Explore innovative approaches to agriculture and food education through an immersive day of learning and collaboration. The day will include guided tours of FFHS's agriculture spaces, hands-on activities in hydroponics, aquaponics, and dairy education through the HAASTEP and Dairy in the Classroom programs, and lesson demonstrations featuring New York Agriculture in the Classroom resources you can bring back to your own classroom. Space is limited to 25 participants. Lunch and CTLE credits provided. Hosted in partnership with Cornell University Cooperative Extension and New York Agriculture in the Classroom.
Attendee information
The workshop is on Thursday, June 4, 2026 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and will be held at Food and Finance High School - 525 W 50th St, New York, NY 10019. The workshop is open to all educators, especially those who have an interest in the content. Continuing Teacher and Leader Education credit for New York State teachers will be available.
