Maricopa County Medical Society is excited to present the 2026 Outstanding Private Practice in Healthcare Award, recognizing a private medical practice that exemplifies outstanding leadership in clinical care, innovation, and service to the community.
This inaugural award honors a practice that demonstrate sustained excellence in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting physicians and clinical teams in maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. It further acknowledges practices that contribute to the advancement of healthcare delivery through innovation, operational effectiveness, and sustainable models of care.
Nominations will be accepted from May 1st through August 1st. Each candidate is carefully assessed to determine the degree to which they fulfills each of the requirements according to the criteria established. Announcements will be made on August 30, 2026.
Award Criteria for the 2026 Outstanding Private Practice in Healthcare Award:
- Demonstrates outstanding quality of care, patient safety, and consistently positive health outcomes, earning recognition and respect among peers and other clinicians.
- Implements creative solutions, technologies, or programs that enhance care delivery, improve patient experience, and increase operational efficiency.
- Fosters a collaborative, respectful, and empowering environment for physicians and staff, promoting professional growth, wellbeing, and excellence in clinical practice.
- Engages in initiatives that address local health needs, promote wellness, and improve access to high-quality care within the community.
- Contributes to the strength and sustainability of the local healthcare ecosystem by supporting independent physicians, advancing practice viability, and promoting long-term growth of private practice medicine.
