Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Junior League of Jackson (JLJ) to use our volunteer and financial resources to help improve the lives of children and youth in our community. JLJ endorses a Community Impact Model for selecting and evaluating its community projects. This model requires JLJ to identify a small number of critical community needs and to place its volunteers and project funds exclusively or primarily in those areas to maximize JLJ's effectiveness in improving the community. Our three impact areas point to one common goal: To support children, youth, and their caregivers in the Jackson area to increase student success.
JLJ has identified the following community needs, which will be used for selecting projects for the 2027-2028 League year:
ESSENTIAL NEEDS
ACADEMIC GROWTH
HEALTH AND MENTAL WELL-BEING
If your Proposed Project addresses one or more of these needs, we look forward to considering a partnership with your organization. If you have more than one Proposed Project, please submit a separate and complete application form for each. All Proposed Projects must begin no earlier than June 1, 2027, and conclude no later than May 31, 2028.
