About the Series
ASPECT BC’s Lunch & Learn is a monthly, member-only series designed to support frontline career development professionals to:
- connect with peers
- share practical tools and approaches
- strengthen professional practice
Session Details
When: Second Thursday of each month
Time: 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm PT
Format: Virtual
Audience: ASPECT BC members
Capacity: Up to 50 participants per session
Session Format
Each session follows a consistent structure:
- 5 minutes: updates and announcements
- 20 minutes: speaker presentation or topic
- 20 minutes: peer discussion
Sessions focus on practical, frontline topics such as employer engagement, trauma-informed practice, and job search trends.
About Facilitating or Presenting
We are looking for facilitators or presenters who can lead engaging, practical sessions and create space for peer discussion.
What We’re Looking For
Sessions should be:
- practical and relevant to frontline CDPs
- aligned with the 45-minute format
- interactive, with time for discussion
- focused on tools, strategies, or emerging issues
How Your Information will be Used
The information you provide will be used to review your proposal and, if selected, to promote your session to ASPECT BC members, including your session title, description, and facilitator information.
Value for Participants
Participants receive certificates of attendance that can be applied toward professional development hours toward certifications.
