    To qualify with Top Road Express, INC, you must meet the following criteria:


    Minimum hiring requirements:
      - Must have a current Class A Driver's License with a minimum of 24 months verifiable Class A Driving Experience
      - Must have a current Medical Certification reflecting Self Certified on your current State's MVR
      - Must have current Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (Some locations require Doubles)
      - Must be able to read and speak English fluently
      - Drivers must be at least 23 years old for insurance purposes
      - Driver's with the following violations within the last 5 years will not qualify: DUI or Test Refusal, Reckless Driving, Hit & Run, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Passing a School Bus, Racing or other felony convictions relevant to the position

  • The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR §391.21) require that all applicants wishing to drive a commercial motor vehicle list all employment for the last three (3) years. In addition, if you have previously operated a commercial motor vehicle, you must provide employment history for an additional seven (7) years (for a total of ten (10) years). Any gaps in employment exceeding one (1) month must be explained.

  • FMCSA Clearinghouse Consent

    By signing below, I consent to Top Road Express, INC conducting a full query of the FMCSA Commercial Driver’s License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse (the “Clearinghouse”) to determine whether any drug or alcohol violation information exists about me.

    I understand and agree that Top Road Express, INC may conduct multiple full queries of the Clearinghouse, including annual queries, for the duration of my employment or application process.

    I understand that if a full query identifies drug or alcohol violation information in the Clearinghouse, the FMCSA will not release detailed information to Top Road Express, INC without obtaining additional specific consent from me.

    I further understand that if I refuse to provide consent for Top Road Express, INC to conduct a full query of the Clearinghouse, I will not be permitted to perform safety-sensitive functions, including operating a commercial motor vehicle, in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

    By signing below, I authorize Top Road Express, INC to obtain and review my Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) in connection with my application for employment.

    I understand that these records will be used to evaluate my qualifications and suitability for a driving position and to determine my ability to safely perform job-related driving duties.

    I also consent to the ongoing review, evaluation, and use of any MVR information obtained during the application process or, if hired, during my employment.

    This consent is provided in accordance with the Federal Drivers Privacy Protection Act (18 USC §2721 et seq.) and constitutes written authorization for the release of my driving record.
