• Drive Smart Idaho Enrollment Form

    Online Coursework Only*

  • This enrollment form is for Students who only need online classroom coursework and have or will receive their behind-the-wheel instruction from another source. Upon completion of the online coursework, Drive Smart Idaho will not be responsible for issuing Student their permit or license. A completion of courswork certificate will be provided. If the student needs the Full Driver's Ed course, which includes state approved online coursework and behind-the-wheel instruction, please fill out this form: Full Course Enrollment instead.

  • Prerequisites

    The questions below will determine eligibility based on meeting the State of Idaho requirements.
  • Does the Student already have a Driver's License from another state or country?*
  • Do you understand you are enrolling this Student in Online Classroom Coursework only instruction? No behind-the-wheel instruction will be provided with this enrollment type.*

  • This enrolllment type (Online Classroom Coursework Only) will only provide the Student access to online Idaho Drivers Ed coursework. No behind-the-wheel instruction will be provided. The Student will not receive their permit from Drive Smart Idaho at the end of this course. Student will receive a certificate of completion for the coursework portion. This option is most commonly selected for Students that are doing parent-led Driver's Ed, or for Students looking for additional or more formal learning using an Idaho-approved curriculmn.   • Where does the Student intend to receive behind-the-wheel instruction from?*

  • Has the Student applied for a Driver's Permit at an Idaho DMV or does the Student currently have a driver's license?*

  • If you have not yet applied for a Driver's Permit at an Idaho DMV, please do so immediately. The Student will not be able enroll in this course until he/she has applied for a Driver's Permit or has a Driver's License. You will be unable to complete this enrollment.
