  • Nyung Nay is a powerful 2-day purification retreat on Thousand-Armed Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion. Through fasting, silence, prostrations, mantra recitation, and observing the 8 Mahayana Precepts, practitioners engage in deep purification of negative karma and the cultivation of compassion.

    This profound practice was transmitted through the lineage of the great practitioner Gelongma Palmo and continues to be practiced today as a method for healing, purification, and opening the heart.

    It is said that even one Nyung Nay retreat can be as powerful as months of other purification practices, creating strong conditions for inner transformation.

    Date: 5th - 8th June 2026
    - Check in on Friday, June 5th by 6:30pm
    - Retreat ends on Monday, June 8th after Breakfast at 8:00am

     

    Venue: Sam Poh Thong Temple

    Retreat Registration Fee:
    LDC member: RM140 (retreat) + RM60 (offerings) = RM200
    Non-LDC member: RM160 (retreat) + RM60 (offerings) = RM220

    If you have not yet taken Refuge or the 8 Mahayana Precepts, Geshe Tsondu will be granting both during Wesak & Saka Dawa Day on 31 May (Sun) at LDC.
