One will be requird to be kept on the participant at all times, and one will be  in an appropriatemy marked (name, triggers, etc.) protectove box. • Kosher Food

Our policy for kosher food on Trek Europe is throughout the week to provide vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. Typically breakfast is at the hotel where BBYO advises the participants to only eat vegetarian food. Lunch is either a packed sandwich or 'pizur' where the teens are given the opportunity to find a place to eat within a small group - again with the advice of eating vegetarian food only. Dinners are often (not always) from a kosher institution or restaurant. Shabbat dinner and lunch are fully kosher and meaty. Should you require a stricter level of kosher, please indicate below, and we ensure that certified kosher food is provided where possible.
  • My teen requires certified kosher food in Europe

It is essential for you to provide us with very specific information relating to any food allergy (including whether any reaction occurs with airbourne food particles) to make sure of the possible risks in addition to signing the waiver below. As a reminer, if you have been prescribed an adrenaline auto-injector (EpiPen) you should bring a minimum of two doses on Trek Europe 2026. Both of these two doses should be kept on the participant at all times in an appropriately marked (name, triggers etc) protetive box. • Medical Conditions

However, if we are unaware of issues beforehand, we may be unable to provide the required level of support during Trek Europe 2026 resulting in your child/participant having to be removed from the programme for safety, and at your expense. If you fail to declare a mental or physical health condition that has been diagnosed prior to the trip departure date, we reserve the right to cancel your child's place on the trip or send your child home during the trip with no refund applicable. We may require you to have a further form completed by a GP or a specialist at your own cost, if we need further information.

  • We appreciate your honesty in disclosing the participant's medical history. BBYO aims to create supportive and inclusive environments for all participants on tour so that they may get the most out of the trip. Whilst we will do our upmost to support the participant, there is still a risk that they may experience mental health conditions on tour. The participant's health and wellbeing during the programme are our primary concern. Therefore, we have outline how we may best support the participant during tour which may include a support plan and risk assessment. It should be noted that the participant's acceptance onto the programme and ongoing paritcipation is at the sole discretion of BBYO UK. The majority of medical insurance policies for tour do not cover any self-inflicted medical situations or psychological assessments/treatments related to mental health conditions. If the participant experiences mental health conditions during tour and BBYO UK decide that they require medical or psychological assessments/treatments for their safety and well-being, this will not be covered by the insurance policy. Therefore, all costs associated will be at the parent/guardian's expense. You can find further information about this in our terms and conditions document. It is important to note that, due to the nature of the programme, the madrichim (leaders) will not be with the chanichim (participants) at all times, including, but not limited to: free-time, when participants are in their rooms, at night, and when using the bathroom. During tour, should the participant need additional support, they should speak to one of their madrichim so that they can best understand how to support them. This may be as per their care plan, as agreed with you in advance, or through treatment from medical professionals, should BBYO decide that this is required. As stated above, as the participant's parent/guardian(s): I acknowledge the medical policy for BBYO Trek Europe does not cover any self-inflicted medical situations or psychological treatment/assessment related to mental health conditions. I understand that I will be liable for any and all associated costs relating to any required treatment. I understand that BBYO UK reserves the right to remove a participant from the programme if BBYO UK decides that there is a concern for their safety and well-being and/or if the required level of support is beyond which can be reasonably provided and/or if their need are impacting negatively upon the group dynamics. If the participant has to return to the UK at an alternative time due to their mental health, repatriation will not be covered by the BBYO UK insurance and any associated costs will be covered by myself, the parent/guardian(s). I confirm that I have fully disclosed all of the participant's medical history relating to their mental health to BBYO UK, including all information relating to severity, symptoms, and previous treatment. I agree that I will continue to update BBYO UK if there are any changes to the participant's mental, emotional, or physical health prior to BBYO Trek Europe. As part of this, I agree to comply with requests from BBYO UK for an update from any professional involved with the participant's care at any time. I agree that if this is required, any costs will be at my expense as their parent/guardian(s).
