• Call for Abstract Submissions

  • We are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the ICBDSR 2026 based on the guidelines below.

    Abstract guidelines: 

    Abstracts must be submitted in English.

    The title of the abstract should define the topic and contain no abbreviations.

    In the body of the abstract, standard abbreviations and acronyms should be defined on first use.

    Maximum word count for the abstract title is 30 words.

    Maximum word count of the body of the abstract is 1000 words, divided into four separate sections:

    • Background & Objectives (250-word count)
    • Method (250-word count)
    • Results (250-word count)
    • Discussion & Conclusion (250-word count)

    No graphics, photographs or tables should be included in the abstract.

    While multiple authors per abstract are permitted, there should be only one presenter per submission. Please submit the presenter’s (submitting author’s) brief biography of no more than 100 words with the abstract.

    It is the submitting author’s (presenter’s) responsibility to submit an accurate, professionally presented abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar and scientific facts will be reproduced in the programme and abstract book as submitted by the author.

    Accepted posters must be printed/hard copy *A0* portrait format which is 120cm high and 80cm wide and are to be presented in person. A timeslot will be included in the programme for brief poster presentations.

    Important Information 

    All abstracts will be evaluated by the ICBDSR Scientific Committee who will accept, reject, or ask for modifications or additional information.
    Carefully check your submission(s) as all accepted abstracts will be published in the Programme/Abstract Booklet “as is” with no further editing by the Scientific Committee. The final Abstract Booklet will be published online.

    Final allocation to poster or oral presentation is at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.
