Fill out this application to participate in the contest and showcase your talent.
The Write-Off is a live songwriting competition for DMV-area artists. Contestants select a track they’ve never heard — in front of a live audience — write original lyrics in 90 minutes, then perform live, unrehearsed and unedited. The audience votes to select one winner, who receives a professional studio recording session to record their winning lyrics over the track they selected, for public release. All genres welcome. Registration required in advance. 3 slots only.
