The Indiana Department of Health, Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity invites you to a workshop series facilitated by Leah's Pantry, a national leader in trauma-informed nutrition. The series will explore whole child nutrition practices that promote healthy eating habits and strategies to reduce food-related stress, specifically in early childcare education settings.
At the end of this series, educators and providers will feel confident making mealtimes a space of care and connection.
- Boost Brains & Bodies: Unlock the nutritional science behind early fruit and veggie exposure.
- Manage Mealtime Challenges: Master inclusive tools to create a calm, positive eating environment for every child.
- Decode Challenging Behaviors: Understand the neurobiology of stress and how it drives appetite and classroom conduct.
- Stress-Free Feeding: Get a professional roadmap for pressure-free nourishment that supports kids and staff alike.
The workshop series includes four live Zoom sessions, each from 1:30-2:30pm EST. Although sessions will be recorded, it is highly recommended that participants attend live instead of watching the recording at a later time. Earn a certificate if you attend all four sessions!
Once registered, participants will receive a calendar hold with the Zoom link within one week.
