OUR FORESTS with Jessica Sheila

For enthusiastic young artists aged 8 to 12 years.
DESCRIPTION:
Explore different creative mediums while learning about the trees and forests of Nova Scotia.

We will delve into various inspiring activities throughout the 6-week program that come together to form a unique group representation of our cherished forests.

In light of last year's forest fires, we will also look at climate change and the ways in which our ecosystems are at risk.

Focusing on tree varieties, animals and bugs throughout our activities!

TIME:
Wednesdays, 3:30pm-5:00pm

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Jessica Sheila is an artist and a true believer in incorporating creative play into our lives no matter the age! She completed an art therapy certificate program a few years ago and has been exploring structured and unstructured play with children and adults since.

Jessica resides in Annapolis Royal and opened her new business, H’Arts, House of Arts in 2023. She offers workshops and various creative opportunities for both children and adults, studio space for rent, as well as a shared gallery and handmade creations from Canada.
