  • Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application.  Be sure to gather all of your documents prior to beginning the application. Please allow approximately 30 minutes to complete the entire application. All winners will be notified on or before August 3, 2026.

  • If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

    Please provide a typed personal statement (minimum 11-point font, not to exceed one page) introducing yourself to the selection committee. In your statement, clearly explain how this scholarship will support your educational goals and future plans. Describe the experiences that inspired your choice of study and the personal journey that has shaped your aspirations. Additionally, discuss your commitment to community service, including how you selected and engaged in your service projects, and the impact these experiences have had on you and others. Your statement should reflect your personal story, motivations, and how your academic and service experiences connect to your future goals.

Reflect on how your experiences align with one or more of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s six program initiatives, and how they have influenced your personal, academic, and career goals.   • C. Official Transcript

    An official transcript must be submitted directly from your current high school, college, or university and must be postmarked or received no later than May 23, 2025. Transcripts should be sent either by email directly from the school to scholarships@taubetaomega.com or by mail in a sealed envelope from the school to PO Box 9385, Marina Del Rey, CA 90295. Transcripts submitted by applicants will not be accepted.
