The packrafting and bikepacking courses are offered by professional guide services. They are not run by trained therapists. Do you anticipate the trip being intense or emotionally difficult? (Optional)
The goal of AHAF is to offer safe spaces for outdoor adventure and are not intended to treat trauma. If you need support with trauma, we recommend that you seek professional mental health services.
The mission of the Armida Huerta Adventure Fund is to provide scholarships for the outdoor activities of packrafting and bikepacking to people from the historically underserved communities of LGBTQ individuals or women that identify as Black, Indigenous or People of Color.
