    Family Registration Information
  • The 2026 Elko Education Weekend is a free event for members of our Nevada Chapter bleeding disorders community. We seek to gather together to learn and share from one another - We look forward to celebrating you all!

    EVENT OVERVIEW

    Friday: Arrivals and hotel check-in. Event registration at Shutters Hotel Elko begins at 5pm with dinner provided.

    Saturday: Enjoy complimentary breakfast at Shutters Hotel; there will also be a coffee bar starting at 9am at the Elko Convention Center. Education sessions beginning at 10am. Our schedule will offer plenty of time for families to learn and play together. Clinic staff from the Nevada HTC will offer 2 sessions of infusion instruction for anyone interested.

    Lunch & Dinner will be provided, and an all day snack & refreshment table will be available. We are excited to provide bleeding disorder programming for all ages throughout Saturday with plenty of fun activities, including a round of Bingo with lots of prizes. Backpacks and school supplies will be provided for all children in attendance.

    Sunday: Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Thank you for joining us for Elko Education Weekend 2026!

    This is a family event, and all immediate family members are welcome. Parents/Caregivers are responsible for the supervision of the child when children/youth are not in session or part of a guided activity. This form allows up to 5 child/youth family members to be added. If registration exceeds five, please contact SDupree@bleeding.org to add additional names. Additional Adult Family Members can be added in the section below.

  • Traveling and Accommodations

  • Programming will take place in Elko, NV on Friday evening and all day Saturday.

    Those traveling 30+ miles round trip to the convention center are eligible for a travel grant gas stipends and hotel room at Shutters Hotel in Elko. Hotels rooms for participants living in and around Elko are also available upon request.

    Hotel accomodations are provided at Shutters Hotel in Elko for a 3pm check-in on Friday, July 31st, and 11am check out on Sunday, August 2nd. 

    Registration for the event begins at 5pm on Friday, July 31st with dinner to follow inside the Shutters Hotel Ballroom. Programing on Saturday will take place at the Elko Convention Center, and conclude Saturday evening with dinner at the Shutters Hotel Ballroom.

  • During programs or events sponsored by the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation Nevada Chapter (NBDF-NV), you may take photos and or videos of me (us) and my (our) child(ren) that may be used in publications, websites and promotional materials which promote the National Bleeding Disorders Nevada Chapter (NBDF-NV) activities.

  • PARENT/GUARDIAN SUPERVISION REQUIREMENT

    NV Chapter will not be providing chaperones, childcare, or adult supervision when programming and scheduled children/youth activities are not scheduled. Please read and review the following.
  • I understand and agree that that I am to accompany my minor child(ren) at all times when they are not signed in to any kid/teen event scheduled programming or sessions. NBDF-NV Chapter will not be providing any form of childcare services or chaperones outside of any children/youth programming sessions and that it remains my responsibility as their parent/guardian to directly supervise my minor child(ren) at those times, including event family activities.
