Waiver of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement
Participation in cheerleading, tumbling, stunting, conditioning, and related athletic activities involves inherent and significant risks of injury. By enrolling in Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company, I acknowledge and agree to the following on behalf of myself and/or my athlete. 1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk I understand that participation in cheerleading activities includes risks such as slips, trips, falls, collisions with other athletes or individuals, equipment failure, overexertion, facility-related incidents, and other unforeseen circumstances that may result in injury, illness, property damage, emotional distress, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily accept full responsibility for these risks on behalf of myself and my athlete as a condition of participation and acknowledge that I have explained these risks to my athlete. 2. Release of Liability I release and hold harmless Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company, its owners, directors, coaches, staff members, volunteers, facility partners, and affiliates from any claims arising from participation in practices, classes, camps, clinics, choreography sessions, competitions, travel activities, or related events. This release applies to injuries or damages caused by participation in cheer activities, other athletes or spectators, equipment use or failure, facility conditions, third-party actions, and negligence of other participants or visitors, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 3. Promise Not to Sue In consideration of participation in Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company activities, I agree not to bring legal action against Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company, its staff, affiliates, or facility partners for injuries or damages arising from participation in program activities. This agreement is binding on myself, my athlete, and our heirs, representatives, administrators, and assigns. 4. Facility & Third-Party Location Acknowledgment I understand that Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company may conduct practices, training sessions, or events at partner facilities or rented training locations. Participation at these locations carries the same risks outlined in this agreement. 5. Equipment & Third-Party Vendor Acknowledgment I understand that injuries may occur as a result of equipment use, facility setup, or actions of third-party vendors, manufacturers, installers, or service providers. I accept these risks as part of participation. 6. Competition & Travel Acknowledgment I understand that participation on a Reign In Rhythm team may involve travel to competitions, events, performances, or team activities. I acknowledge that transportation to and from these events is the responsibility of the parent/guardian unless otherwise communicated in writing by the program. I accept the risks associated with travel participation and release Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company and its staff from liability related to transportation, lodging arrangements, or supervision outside designated team activity times. 7. Medical Authorization In the event of an emergency, I authorize Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company staff to obtain medical treatment for my athlete if I cannot be reached immediately. I understand that all medical expenses remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian. 8. Insurance Responsibility I understand that Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company does not provide individual medical insurance coverage for athletes and that maintaining personal medical insurance is required. 9. Media Release I grant permission for Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company to photograph or record my athlete for promotional, social media, website, and marketing purposes unless written notice requesting exclusion is submitted. 10. Agreement to Policies, Expectations & Financial Agreement By signing below, I acknowledge that I have received, read, and fully understand the Reign In Rhythm Cheer Company policies and agreement terms.
