Deposits are due with application submission and no later than Friday, May 29, 2026 at 9 PM.

A Western Zones meet tradition is athletes trading team gear. Would you be interested in purchasing an additional SNS team shirt for trading?

Each selected athlete will receive SNS Western Zones Age Group (WZAG) Team Apparel, Meals, Hydration & Snacks, Event Entries, Hotel Accomodations and Transportation to the meet and team events.

CO-PAY & CO-PAY DEPOSIT INFO:

The total family co-pay will be no more than $1600*

There are two options for a Deposit. Zelle (no additional fee) and Stripe Credit Card (additional CC processing fee of 3%)

$800.00 "Refundable" Deposit if paid with Zelle

$824.00 "Refundable" Deposit if paid with Credit Card

Initial Deposit must be received no later than FRIDAY, May 29, 2026.
The Initial Deposit of Athletes NOT selected to the 2026 SNS WZAG Team will be fully refunded in the same method as paid.
Co-Pay Deposits become "Non-Refundable" after the Application Deadline AND once an Athlete is selected to the 2026 SNS WZAG Team Roster
The initial team will be selected on Monday, June 1, 2026. If selected, final payment must be received by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 9 pm. Final payment information will be included in the team selection email.
If your athlete is not selected for the team, you will be reimbursed including any processing fees in the same method as your payment.

I authorize SNS, its affiliates, and partners to use, reproduce, and publish these images or recordings in print and/or electronically for purposes including, but not limited to:

Promotional materials
Social media platforms
Press releases and news coverage
Educational and training purposes

I understand that:
My participation is voluntary, and no compensation will be provided.
These materials may be used in perpetuity without further notice to me.
I may revoke this consent at any time in writing, but revocation will not affect prior use.

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION:
I hereby authorize, consent and direct the SNS Western Zones Age Group (WZAG) Team, its directors, officers, and employees, and any physician, hospital, or other health care provider selected by the Sierra Nevada Swimming, to take such action as is necessary in the circumstances to provide emergency care and related treatment to my above-named child in my absence, should the need arise while he/she is participating in the programs of Sierra Nevada Swimming. I hereby designate Sierra Nevada Swimming, its directors, officers, and employees as my authorized agent for the signing of any consent forms required by any such health care provider in connection with such health care.

EXTRA ATTENTION STATEMENT:

SNS strives to ensure that every swimmer has the opportunity to fully participate
on the SNS Zone Travel Team. In that spirit, if you have any questions, concerns, or medical conditions that may require special attention or accommodations, please contact Mary Ellen Tynan, SNS Director of Operations at maryellen.tynan@snswimming.org.
Swimmers who require a reasonable accommodation due to a medical need will be asked to complete a Reasonable Accommodation Request Form so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this code is to promote a safe, positive, and productive environment at Sierra Nevada Swimming (SNS). All SNS members including swimmers, coaching staff, and parents are required to adhere to this code during SNS sponsored events including but not limited to practice, meets in SNS or at away pools, SNS travel meets, or other SNS gatherings.

A signature on this document constitutes unconditional agreement to comply with the stipulations of this document.

CODE RULES

SNS members will display proper respect and sportsmanship toward coaches, officials, administrators, teammates, fellow competitors and the public at all times.
SNS members and staff/parents will refrain from any illegal or inappropriate behavior that would detract from a positive image of SNS or be detrimental to its performance objectives.
SNS and USA Swimming Code of Conduct prohibits bullying. Generally, bullying is the use of aggression, whether intentional or not, which hurts another person. Bullying results in pain or distress.
The possession or use of alcohol or tobacco products by an athlete is prohibited.
The possession, use, or sale/distribution of any controlled or illegal substances, or any form of weapon is strictly forbidden.
During competition, questions or concerns regarding decisions made by meet officials are directed to the Head Coach or Coach on deck. Only the coaching staff will address officials.
No “deck changes” are permitted. Athletes are expected to use available change facilities.
Swimmers are to refrain from inappropriate physical contact at SNS activities and events.
Swimmers are to refrain from use of inappropriate language.
Swimmers are to refrain from inappropriate conversations that would violate the privacy and safety of another swimmer.
Coaches are discouraged from interacting with swimmers in a one coach/one swimmer environment. However, if a coach is alone with a swimmer- all interaction will be in an open and observable environment at all times.
SNS members are reminded that when competing in meets, travelling on trips, and attending other meet related functions, they are representing both themselves and SNS. Athletes, Coaches, and Parents must positively reflect the high standards of SNS.

DECLARATION

In order to promote a safe, positive, and productive environment, I declare that I have read and understand the Code of Conduct/ Honor Code, and accept the rules, regulations and conditions as outlined, and as stated in the other SNS Travel Policy. I further agree to follow all directions as provided by the SNS Staff.

I understand that any violation of any part of the Code of Conduct/ Honor Code, Staff direction or SNS Travel Policy, can result in any or all of the following:

Dismissal from the trip and immediate return home at the athlete’s expense.
Disqualification from one or more events, or all events of competition.
Disqualification from future SNS travel meets.
Financial penalties.
Proceeding for a Sierra Nevada Swimming or USA Swimming Board of Review.
