This FREE 2-day* June school holidays accredited training will provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently provide First Aid.
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage emergency situations and provide appropriate First Aid in a workplace environment.
This course is being delivered by Surf Life Saving NT with support through NTG's Darwin Youth Activity Grants.

Who: 13 - 17 year olds
When: 9am-1pm, Wednesday 24th AND Thursday 25th June 2026
Location: Surf Life Saving Northern Territory

Course includes the following:
- Applied ARC guidelines and workplace procedures in managing unconscious breathing and non-breathing casualties.
- Performed 2 mins of uninterrupted CPR on adult and infant manikins, including AED use and rescuer rotation.
- Responded to regurgitation/vomiting during CPR.
- Treated casualties for anaphylaxis, asthma, bleeding, choking, envenomation, fractures, sprains, wounds, nosebleeds, and shock.
- Completed a simulated first aid scenario: identified condition, used PPE, provided care, communicated with emergency services, documented and reviewed the incident.
Once enrolled you will be required to complete online learning before the course starts.
