  • IMPORTANT! Before you proceed, kindly read the eligibility criteria in the Terms and Conditions.

  • The Student Category is open to:

    a. *Students 35 years old and below (born in 1991 and after) and currently enrolled in full-time education in Singapore.

    OR

    b. *Graduates 35 years old and below (born in 1991 and after) who produced their films while enrolled as a full-time student in Singapore between 1 May 2025 and 26 July 2026. 

    *Singaporean/PR youth or youth with a valid student pass or long-term pass (e.g. EP/SP/LTVP). Proof of identity for verification may be required and must be produced upon request.

     

    This form may take 20-30 minutes to complete. Please be prepared with the following information before proceeding:

    (1) Details of team members (e.g. age and date of birth)

    (2) Film link

    (3) Film details (e.g. film duration and synopsis)

  • Please ensure that your film has been exported to these settings:

    Video Specs - Apple ProRes 422/H264 codec, 1080p HD (1920 x 1080), 16:9 aspect ratio, 24 or 25 fps and 12 mbps bit rate.

    Audio Specs - Stereo Channels, AAC codec and 48kHz sample rate. 

    Vimeo links are strongly preferred but if you are unable to upload onto Vimeo due to account restrictions, we will also accept Google Drive. Please note that your Google Drive link must be accessible, i.e. anyone with the link can view the film. 

    Please ensure that the film link is active and accessible until 31 December 2026 or your films may be disqualified.

    The film will not be eligible for the respective technical award category if the component was outsourced to a company for completion or for enhancement such as post-production, sound design, visual effects, etc. 

    e.g. Editing and Post-Production - XYZ Media was involved in the editing as well as sound design for the entire short film.
