The Virginia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (VCACC) elects councilors who represent varied geographic regions, subspecialties, and practice settings. Councilors facilitate communication with members and shape the Chapter’s strategic vision and programming.
Each council member is elected to a two-year term, renewable for up to two additional two-year terms, for a maximum total service of six years.
Each Councilor is expected to serve as a liaison to Chapter members, increase engagement with Chapter activities, communicate Chapter initiatives, and advocate for cardiovascular health.
