Waiver for Schroon Paddle Challenge KickOff Participant
We thank you very much for participating in this event. By submitting this registration, participant agrees to accept all liability for any injuries or damage to watercraft that may occur. Registering exempts the Town of Schroon, Schroon Chamber of Commerce, ROOST and the Schroon Lake Association from any liability.
The Participant Assumption of Risk and Waiver/Release for Injuries,
Damages and Claims - Schroon Paddle Challenge KickOff - 2026:
I hereby acknowledge that such participation may involve the risk of
physical injury to me or others, or damage to my property, or other risks or
consequences, foreseen or unforeseen. I hereby assume any and all such
risks, and I waive and release the Schroon Paddle Challenge KickOff and
all of its sponsors from all liabilities and claims arising from my participating
in this event.
I further hereby grant to the Schroon Paddle Challenge the free and full use
of any photographic or video images made of me in my capacity as a
participant for the Schroon Paddle Challenge to be used for any
legitimate purpose including, but not limited to, publicity or advertising.
If the participant is a minor (under 18 yrs. of age), I further certify that I am
his/her parent or legal guardian. I further agree to defend and indemnify the
sponsors named above for any claims made by or on behalf of my minor child or
ward which relate to this event. I am also releasing any claims that I might
have against the Schroon Paddle Challenge Kickoff or in my capacity as
parent or guardian.
Submission of this registration constitutes acceptance of this waiver.
