Liability Disclaimer and Release

By registering and/or allowing my child to participate in Vacation Bible School (VBS) at First Baptist Church, I acknowledge and understand that participation in church activities may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical activities, games, outdoor play, crafts, use of equipment, and interaction with other participants.

I understand that while First Baptist Church takes reasonable precautions to provide a safe and supervised environment, accidents and injuries may still occur. I agree that First Baptist Church, its staff, volunteers, leaders, and representatives shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, illness, accident, allergic reaction, or loss or damage of personal property that may occur during or as a result of participation in Vacation Bible School activities, whether on church property or during church-sponsored events.

I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and agree to assume all risks associated with involvement in VBS activities. I release, waive, and discharge First Baptist Church, its staff, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from injury or damages incurred while participating in VBS.

I understand that it is my responsibility to inform church staff of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may affect participation.

By participating in Vacation Bible School, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this disclaimer and agree to its terms.
