  • All installed modules fully installed with all hardware and verified secure
  • Solar modules staged on approved racks/pallets and banded/strapped
  • Sheet metal / flashing / tray covers banded or mechanically restrained
  • Frames / rails / aluminum extrusions banded; no loose individual pieces
  • Torque tubes secured from rolling
  • Long rails secured to prevent rolling
  • No broken modules unbound/uncontained
  • Conduit / EMT / PVC banded or secured against rolling
  • Small supplies staged on pallets/racks and contained (tarp/netting)
  • Tarps/netting properly ballasted (blocks/sandbags) to prevent wind intrusion under tarp
  • Tools stored in closed toolboxes/containers
  • Loose cords, ropes, tag lines rolled and secured
  • All debris containerized upon generation; removed from ground
  • Work area, laydown area walkdown completed by foreman
  • Photo documentation uploaded to daily log
  • Weather forecast reviewed mid-day and at end-of-day
  • Storm Preparation or Long-Term (over 96 hours) Site Stabilization

  • Secure laydown area fencing - cut sail relief areas if fence netting is wind exposed, ballast on footers
  • Secure portable toilet from movement (stakes into ground through skid holes, ballast on floor, T-Post and ratchet strap over top, etc.)
  • Secure laydown area materials from becoming wind driven (banding, straps, ballast, mechanical fastening, etc.)
  • Cover dumpster or have disposal for trash dumpsters
  • Evaluate wind direction and stage telehandler and other equipment to avoid damage or reinforce laydown area safety
  • Stage all liquids in windproof areas or bring to ReThink shop
  • Walk and evaluate the SWPPP BMPs for attention or reinforcement for potential rainfall amounts
  • Foreman Certification

  • By signing below, I certify that all high sail area and/or lightweight materials, equipment, tools, packaging, and debris have been inspected and secured in accordance with company Wind-Driven Material Prevention requirements.

    I have reviewed the 96-hour forecast and taken appropriate action to prevent sliding, rolling, uplift, or displacement of materials.
