Adoption Contract Terms and Conditions:
Please read the following terms carefully before proceeding. By signing below, you agree to provide a loving, safe, stable, and permanent home for the adopted dog and to treat the dog humanely at all times.
You agree to pay all applicable adoption and transport fees. You understand that adoption fees are charitable, nonrefundable donations made to support Venturing Pack Rescue’s ongoing rescue operations, including the rescue, care, and medical needs of animals in need.
You agree to provide proper food, water, shelter, exercise, training, socialization, and necessary veterinary care, including routine wellness care and emergency medical treatment when needed. You also agree to comply with all applicable local animal control, licensing, and leash laws.
You acknowledge that dogs require time to adjust to new environments and agree to provide patience, structure, and appropriate care during the transition period.
You understand and agree that the adopted dog may not be sold, transferred, abandoned, surrendered to a shelter, given away, or rehomed without first contacting Venturing Pack Rescue. If at any time you are unable or unwilling to keep the dog, you agree to notify Venturing Pack Rescue so appropriate arrangements can be made.
You acknowledge that animals can be unpredictable and may cause injury or property damage. By adopting the dog, you voluntarily assume all risks and responsibilities associated with ownership and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Venturing Pack Rescue, its volunteers, members, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the dog after adoption.
You understand and agree that Venturing Pack Rescue reserves the right to reclaim the dog if any terms of this agreement are violated.
