  • MASTER CONTRIBUTOR RELEASE FORM CONTRACT
    Adults 18 and Older

    This agreement is between Meraki Tribe Magazine, hereinafter referred to as "the Magazine," and the undersigned contributor, hereinafter referred to as "the Contributor."

    This release applies to all submitted content, including but not limited to:

    • Photographs
    • Artwork
    • Written Articles
    • Poetry
    • Editorial Content
    • Digital Artwork
    • Creative Collaborations

    RIGHTS & PERMISSION AGREEMENT
    In consideration of publication and exposure, the Contributor grants Meraki Tribe Magazine permission to:

    • Publish submitted content in print and digital formats
    • Re-publish content in future issues or special editions
    • Use content for promotional materials
    • Display content on websites and social media platforms
    • Use content in advertisements, portfolios, archives, and marketing
    • Use content worldwide, in any format or media now known or developed in the future

    The Contributor understands that:

    • Submission of content does not guarantee publication
    • Publication is unpaid, unless otherwise agreed in writing
    • The Magazine is not required to provide free print copies
    • Digital tear sheets may not be provided
    • Content may be resized, cropped, or formatted for layout
    • Written content may be edited for grammar, clarity, and formatting without changing intended meaning

    OWNERSHIP & AUTHORITY STATEMENT
    The Contributor confirms that:

    • They retain ownership of their original work
    • They have legal rights to submit the content
    • They have permission from all recognizable individuals appearing in submitted content
    • All participating contributors have been properly credited
    • All provided information is accurate and truthful
    • They have notified all involved parties of the submission
    • The Contributor agrees that Meraki Tribe Magazine may publish credits as submitted.

    LIABILITY RELEASE
    The Contributor releases and agrees to hold harmless Meraki Tribe Magazine, its staff, representatives, and partners from any liability related to:

    • Editing
    • Formatting
    • Layout design
    • Image resizing or modification
    • Publication or re-publication
    • Distribution of content

    Including but not limited to claims involving:

    • Defamation
    • Privacy
    • Alteration or layout changes
    • Use of images or text in promotional materials
    • Content will only be modified as necessary for publication layout and presentation.

    PUBLICATION AGREEMENT
    The Contributor understands and agrees:

    • Submission does not guarantee placement in a specific issue
    • Content selection is based on theme, deadlines, layout needs, and editorial discretion
    • Content may be used in future promotional or archival materials
    • The Magazine reserves the right to decline content that does not meet submission standards

    ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AGREEMENT
    By signing electronically, the Contributor certifies that:

    • They have read and understood this agreement
    • They agree to all stated terms
    • They are at least 18 years of age
    • They have the legal authority to grant permission for submitted content
    • Their electronic signature is legally binding and has the same effect as a handwritten signature
