Volunteers are essential to the running of the event, with roles available across pre-event organisation, setup, and race day operations.
Pre-Event Setup:
- Documentation
- General event organisation
- Assist with track development using plant and equipment
- Set up course layout, including cones and signage
- Prepare the pit area and erect shade structures
Saturday and Sunday – Event Days
- Finalise course setup (shade for officials, fire extinguishers, timing equipment, radio distribution)
- Direct parking and general vehicle movement
- Record and compile results at Headquarters
- On-course officials (shade and seating provided)
- BBQ food preparation and sales
- Equipment return and checking (door numbers, officials’ vests, radios, stopwatches)
