Rules for Catering:
- Only Full-Service Caterers on the Authorized Caterers List (maintained by the SRHCC) are permitted to have access to the kitchen. Full-Service Caterers must cook, deliver, setup, serve, and are responsible for all trash related to food service. Full-Service Caterers are responsible for providing adequate staff to clean kitchen, dispose of trash, and bus tables. Kitchen access will be arranged at the time of booking by SRHCC staff. All functions of 50 people or more requiring food service must use a caterer from the Authorized Caterers List. If the Licensee desires to use a Caterer not on the Authorized Caterers List, the caterer must be considered Full Service, and the client will be charged a $500.00 processing fee.
- Catering events will incur a kitchen fee for number of guests @ $1 per person which is payable by the individual/organization renting the facility.
Rules & Regulations for Renting the Center:
- The Authorized Areas shall be used only for the specific Event.
- Person renting the center will be responsible in providing LIABILITY insurance; Center will not provide LIABILITY insurance.
- Person renting the center will be responsible in providing LIABILITY insurance; Center will not provide LIABILITY insurance.
- Prohibited Use. Licensee shall not knowingly use the facility, or knowingly permit it to be used by any employee, agent, patron or invitee.
- For any illegal purpose.
- In conflict with any applicable law, ordinance, rule or regulation of any governmental authority.
- In any manner which could void the insurance or increase the rate of insurance on the facility (i.e. use of hazardous materials in or around the building).
- In any manner which causes injury to the Facility; or
- In violation of these Rules and Regulations
- Damage to Property or Vehicles. SRHCC is not responsible and shall not be held liable for loss or damage to vehicles or property brought to or left at SRHCC.
- Security deposit must be paid at the time of reservation.
- All rental charges must be paid in full within 10 days after making the reservation. Failure to pay the charges on time will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
- The following percent of rental charges will be refunded upon cancellation: 100% - 4 weeks prior, 75% - 2 to 4 weeks prior, 50% - 1 to 2 weeks prior.
- An organization to qualify as a member Non-profit Organization / Association must be an SRHCC annual donor for the prior and current year of the Program activity.
- Program Sponsor agrees to be responsible for all the damages to Center, normal wear and tear expected and agrees that damages are deducted from the deposit. If damages exceed deposit, the difference will be collected from the renter.
- Program Sponsor must have enough adults present to supervise all scheduled activities.
- Program Sponsor agrees to abide by all fire and other safety regulations and to keep front and side doors unlocked during the program activity.
- Program Sponsor must remove all materials brought into the Center for the activity prior to leaving the center.
- No posters, announcements, pamphlets, brochures or any similar material shall be posted or put in the Center. Program sponsor must give such material to appropriate committee member to be put out at appropriate places and on the bulletin boards. Any unauthorized posting shall be removed, and Program Sponsor shall be held responsible for any damages.
- Smoking, Pan Parag, Manekchand or Any Pan Products are prohibited inside the building.
- Spitting of Pan Parag is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises. Program Sponsor will be responsible for such damages.
- Minor Guests. Children under the age of 13 years must always be under the supervision of a responsible adult, whether inside the building or on the grounds, of the SRHCC, guardians failing to supervise children under their care may be asked to leave the center.
- Program Sponsor must exercise a good faith effort to control children from causing damage to the Center and its property and every effort must be made to keep the Center clean and trash- free.
- Program Sponsor shall not put nails or tapes on the walls of the Center.
- Program Sponsor to qualify as a Samaj member must produce the proof of Samaj membership.
- Do not leave any food items in the refrigerator or anywhere in the building.
- Be sure the oven and all surface units are OFF.
- Cleaning Policy. The Licensee is responsible for cleaning or removing all trash, decorations, and any item brought into the facility. Any excessive cleaning will be billed and/or deducted from the security deposit of the licensee at the discretion of the SRHCC.
- All Garbage inside & outside the premises must be picked up and bagged (in your bags), sealed and disposed into the dumpster located in the front of the building.
- Each group is responsible for inspecting restrooms and leaving them clean otherwise charges will apply.
- Kitchen Area must be left clean, all utensils, pots must be cleaned and all uneaten cooked food shall not be left on the premises and/or disposed of in the dumpster.
- For dining tables please use paper roll, clothing or other material to keep them clean.
- Put all tables and chairs back exactly as you found them when you first arrived in the building. A MUST.
- Any dispute or questions about the rules for renting the Center shall be brought to the attention of the President or their designated Samaj office bearer.
- Center will not provide any paper products and garbage bags.
- Non-Vegetarian food will not be cooked inside the building, must be cooked outside the premises in the renter's own utensils not center's utensils.
- Strictly no Gambling allowed on the premises inside or outside.
- Alcohol. Alcohol may only be served in conjunction with a catered meal or catered function serving appetizers.
- Any caterer serving alcohol must have the appropriate alcohol licenses from its home jurisdiction and the State of Georgia.
- Only licensed bartenders contracted by a caterer on the Approved Caterers list are allowed to serve alcohol in the center.
- No intoxicated persons will be allowed to enter the center, and any intoxicated persons will be removed from the center without redress and will be subject to arrest.
- No alcohol service is permitted after 11:00pm.
- All beer, wine and mixed drinks will be provided in individual servings (no pitchers or kegs).
I, the undersigned hereby agree that Shree Ram Hindu Community Center would be held harmless of any liability arising from any injuries incurred on the premises during the above function. I agree to practice optimum care in the use of the facility, which involves the entire property, indoors and outdoors. I will be responsible for any damages, which incur from misuse of the property during the above function. I have read all the rules for renting and agree to follow the rules.
