  • For the purpose of this application form, "the Agent" (hereinafter referred to as the Agent) means the education agent engaged by the Provider to recruit and/or assist overseas students.
  • ABOUT THIS FORM: Complete this form to apply to become an authorised education agent for Winslow College. All sections must be completed. Supporting documents listed in each section must be attached. Incomplete applications will not be assessed. Winslow College reserves the right to decline any application without providing reasons. Submission of this form does not guarantee appointment. If appointed, a formal Education Agent Agreement must be signed before any recruitment activity commences.

  • SECTION 3 — EDUCATION AGENT TRAINING CERTIFICATION (EATC)

  • REQUIREMENT: Under Standard 4 of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, as amended from time to time, Winslow College is required to ensure that education agents and their staff are appropriately qualified, experienced, and trained to provide accurate and ethical advice to prospective students. Applicants are required to provide evidence of relevant training, knowledge, or professional development in international education and student counselling. This may include completion of the Education Agent Training Course (EATC) or other equivalent training, where available.

  • SECTION 5 - MIGRATION AGENT STATUS

  • IMPORTANT: Agents must not provide migration or visa advice unless they are Registered Migration Agents (RMAS) under the Migration Act 1958; advising students on visa applications, visa conditions, or visa consequences is considered migration advice and requires RMA registration, and agents must refer any students seeking migration advice to a qualified RMA.

  • SECTION 6 - PROFESSIONAL REFEREES

  • REQUIREMENT: Two professional referees are required. At least one referee must be from a CRICOS-registered provider that has directly engaged the applicant agent to recruit international students. Referees will be contacted directly by Winslow College using Form EA-002 for the purpose of assessing the agent's suitability.

  • SECTION 7 - CONFLICT OF INTEREST DECLARATION (SUMMARY)

  • NOTE: This section provides a summary only. A full Conflict of Interest Declaration (Annexure B of the Education Agent Agreement) must be completed and signed separately. For the purposes of this declaration, "financial interest" means ownership, control, equity stake, or profit-sharing in another organisation; it does not include standard commission agreements with other education providers.
  • (a) Does the applicant (or any director, officer, or related party) hold an ownership, controlling interest, equity stake, or profit-sharing arrangement in any CRICOS-registered provider or RTO in Australia?*
  • (b) Is there any close personal relationship between any staff member of the applicant and a Winslow College employee?*

    By signing this declaration, the authorised representative of the applicant confirms and agrees to all items listed below.

  • WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Winslow College will review your application and contact you within 10 business days. If additional information is required, you will be contacted. Reference checks will be conducted directly with your nominated referees. If your application is approved, Winslow College will prepare a formal Education Agent Agreement for execution.
  • ▲ IMPORTANT REMINDER: The applicant must not commence any recruitment, marketing, counselling, or enrolment activities on behalf of Winslow College until a formal written Education Agent Agreement has been signed by both parties and a Certificate of Representation has been issued by Winslow College. Any recruitment activity undertaken without a current signed Agreement constitutes a breach of the ESOS Act 2000 (as amended) and may result in regulatory action.
